1.Sophisticated supervision and environmental protection product tracking system: The project had completed the research and analysis of the guidelines of green announcement of the 5 advanced countries, and also had collected related laws, legal practices and a comprehensive analysis of the case of the United States, Canada, Britain, Japan, Australia and others. And the project had improved research results of our nation's declaration way of the business environment; and had completed " The key points of the management of environmental protection product verification authority of Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan " (Draft); also had completed diligent work of the procedures for falsely use of Green Mark (Draft), and cases of 192 pieces of suspected use without consent of the fraudulent use of Green Mark cases; convened 2 conferences of expert and scholar, to discuss the topic of a draft for the procedures for falsely use of Green Mark and the key points of the management of environmental protection product verification authority. 2.Supervise the environmental protection products verification job: The project have completed 4 sessions of inspection and review meetings for the supervision and verification agencies, 10 times of on-site checks and 4 sessions of the quality system check, and put forward the improvement suggestions to verification authority, and to assist the 2 verification work tends to be consistent; completed 2 sessions of legal education and training for environmental protection products inspection personnel, to reach exchange of academic and practical. 3.Handling the check for environmental protection Product and tracking management: The project had completed check-out for the production sites and selling places of 31 vendors, 122 products, and results weren’t against regulations; also convene 3 sessions of manufacturer's illustration meetings to discuss Green Mark system, application processes and the correct way to declare environment and post-market auditing mechanism, and also had encouraged related businesses to apply Green Mark. Sampled testing jobs had completed for 410 Green Mark products, unqualified ratio is 1%, in which, 2 cases of lead paint of the air-conditioner failed, 1 of PBDE content failed and 1 of a water-based ink and formaldehyde content failed for plastic pieces of the host computer, respectively, it is recommended to keep track of sampling in the future. Sampled and detected 30 non-Green Mark products, wherein testing results of the native toner cartridge did not exceed the specification control limits of Green Mark standard. And sample testing of ready-made products which had no factory owners to apply, results were that only paper tape did not exceed the Green Mark specifications control limits. We recommend that sustainable compare the sampled testing results of Green Mark products and non-Green Mark products, and the test results can be the reference for EPA to set Green Mark specification standards.
